It is now the third day of the BBC tax raids drama, which began days after a scandal sparked by a documentary on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to sources in the NDTV media, senior BBC staff are now spending their nights at work as the “survey” is still being conducted at the company’s offices in India.

According to recent reports, at least 10 senior employees of the BBC have not left their job for the previous two days as the Indian tax officials continue with their tax evasion investigation. Prior reports said that many BBC employees had been asked to work from home.

According to reports, the investigation include obtaining copies of the documents and financial information about the organisation from the employees. Nonetheless, according to sources, business as usual is being maintained at the BBC offices.
